Premier is a New Zealand owned and operated ham, bacon and smallgoods company.  We pride ourselves on the true craftsmanship and natural ingredients that go into our high quality, great tasting products.

We stand by our quality.  At Premier, we use natural wood smoking, premium meat cuts and natural preservative free White Clover honey from Canterbury.  We focus on presenting premium quality products, free of gluten, soy and MSG.

Premier was established in June 1991 and has grown into a national household name with trusted brands including; Beehive, Premier, Freedom Farms and Medallion.  We work hard to bring NZ consumers new and innovative products such as the famous Beehive Streaky Bacon and the recently released range of Beehive shaved meats.

The company services New Zealand's retail and hospitality markets through a nationwide distribution network and our large and talented team of sales representatives and merchandisers based around the country.

Premier is very proud of the fact that from the small Wairarapa town of Carterton we supply the whole country. Some of the names of our hams may seem a little different but they give the local flavour of street and district names around us.

Premier is proud to be the exclusive licencee for Freedom Farms smallgoods, responsible for manufacturing and distribution throughout NZ.  Freedom Farms is a wonderful range of products made from meat supplied from free range, SPCA approved farms in the South Island.
